Simmons, who had recently recovered from a car crash, described the reception as 'an elegant Russ Meyer movie with a rock and roll twist.' Benante added that the initial idea was a small, intimate wedding, but the news quickly spread, leading to a celebration with their closest friends and family. The couple's love story began when Benante proposed to Harvey during a U2 concert in Las Vegas in January 2024.
